AS/NZS 4766:2006 is an Australian & New Zealand standard written for polyethylene water tanks to ensure they have been properly designed & manufactured and that they are fit for purpose. Certification marks - as shown on the left - on any water tank confirm that it meets the required specifications giving you a professional level of confidence. Unfortunately not all manufacturers choose to certify their products but they must comply with every aspect of the standard. We’ve prepared a GREAT GUIDE to help ensure that your tank is certified or compliant. If it appears the tank does not meet the required standard contact the manufacturer and ask them for written confirmation of compliance. |
